Monica Schmitt AIF®
Monica loves the relationships formed from being a Financial Advisor. She first started working with clients as a licensed tax preparer and found that she wanted a deeper relationship than a once a year tax return. Monica became a Financial Advisor in 2008 and has since earned the designation as an Accredited Investment Fiduciary.
Monica enjoys helping her clients navigate the world of investing and understands that investing can sometimes be an emotional process. Her goal is to be an educator and collaborative partner with each of her clients to help manage the emotions of investing, which she believes, will lead to better investment decisions. Monica believes that her role is more than just a money manager but also a counselor, confidant and quite often a problem finder and solver. She believes in understanding your entire financial picture to help be your guide on your personal path to retirement.
Outside of the office, Monica and her husband Brian, enjoy hiking, traveling, attending Bronco’s football games, and gathering with family for activities and fun. Together, they have 4 adult children and 2 grandchildren. Monica also gives back to the community during her time away from the office. The Children’s Diabetes Foundation has become near and dear to the family after Monica’s daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 8. She also loves feeding young minds by volunteering with the Legacy High School Business Advisory Board.

K. Denise Green CRPC®
Denise loves the problem solving that comes with being a Financial Advisor. She started her career as a Financial Advisor in 2005 at Merrill Lynch. There she earned the designation as a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor. In 2011, Denise moved her practice to LPL Financial and is doing business under the name Thrivera Wealth Partners.
After graduating from college with dual degrees in Business Administration and Mass Communication, Denise purchased, grew and sold a small business. She now relies in part on this experience in working with small businesses to assist owners in developing and implementing employee retirement plans that suit the goals of the owner and the needs of the employees. Denise’s real passion lies in working with individuals and couples to balance the risks and rewards associated with investing as they transition and embrace retirement. One of her favorite parts of working with retirees and pre-retirees is helping them to build a plan for income that suits their retirement aspiration.
She has long family history on the Western Slope and loves working and living in an area where her roots are deep. Denise and her husband, Mike, met in 2012 while he lived in Austin, Texas and she in Fruita, Colorado. They now live in Grand Junction, Colorado and enjoy spending time with their granddaughter and family, golfing, travel, and hiking with the company of their dog, “Olive”. Denise also spends time giving back to Mesa County. She has been on the board for HopeWest, Grand Junction Lion’s Club and Bookcliff Country Club to name a few. A budding tradition for Denise and Mike is spending the New Year in Juarez, Mexico building homes through Casas Por Cristo.
